ILF | International Larp Festival is a two-day online international festival where you can meet, play and improvise stories together with other people. A new experience that will connect you with many players and many exciting stories.
This year’s edition is part of the Horizon EU-funded project Larpocracy that aims to explore the depth of larp and its power to influence decision-making processes and active participation, examining how the relationship between individual and collective ethics is regulated. The Italian collective Chaos League coordinates the festival.
What is ILF | International Larp Festival?
ILF is a meeting point, a virtual space where you can experience the most exciting larps firsthand, stories to be experienced in first person, designed to be played remotely. It is a new and very successful form that often amazes with its original design choices. Collective narratives that will entertain, amaze and touch you, games that will challenge you and allow you to get to know yourself and others better.
What will happen?
The participation in the festival is completely flexible and tailor-made. Participants can choose how many and which of the 3 game rounds they’d like to take part in by signing up for the different time slots.
Alongside the playing experience, participants can expect a space for talks and panels that will focus on larp from new and interesting perspectives. A space to reflect on this very special narrative form, larp, and to share experiences, good practices, and reflections. It is an opportunity to be together, to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Who is it for? Anyone can participate, whether they are beginners or not! Any level of experience with larp is welcome; what matters most is curiosity and the desire to get involved!

Where will it happen? On the Chaos League Discord server, via chat and video call. In order to participate, you will need a computer or laptop (participation via phone is strongly discouraged) and a stable internet connection.
When will it happen? The event takes place on Saturday, 14th and Sunday, 15th March 2026. The agenda will be divided into four main blocks:
Saturday: 14:00 - 17:30 CET Welcoming, Opening Ceremony and Game Round #1 21:00 - 23:00 CET Party, Talks and Panels
Sunday: 10:00 - 13:30 CET Game Round #2 15:00 - 18:30 CET Game Round #3 and Farewell Ceremony
